Bosch Security Systems today announced that Frost & Sullivan, a global growth consulting organisation, has awarded the company its 2007 Video Surveillance Emerging Technology of the Year Award. Bosch’s Direct-to-iSCSI RAID recording solution received the award because of its value to customers and IT personnel and its competitiveness against the networked video recorder (NVR).
In 2006, the DCN Wireless WAP won the Industry Forum (iF) Design Award for its outstanding design and quality.
The Panel of Judges of the 7th Detektor International Award gave the following motivation for selecting Professional Series as the winning product: "Professional Series increases the capability of true intrusion detection, whilst simultaneously and significantly reducing the false alarm. Smart reliable and simply the Best Alarm Product 2006."

The DinionXF Day/ Night Camera has won the “NSCA Innovations in Technology” Award 2005 for its outstanding innovative performance, which is conferred by the National Systems Contractors Association.
The magazine EC&M consigned its Product of the Year Award in the Category “Security Equipment & Systems” to the Videojet 10 single-channel MPEG-4 digital video encoder/ decoder.
The “Perfect 10” Awards of the magazine Consulting-Specifying Engineer (CSE) has been a two-part product-of-the-year 2005 competition, in which a selection of that year’s new products had been chosen by a panel of expert judges for ultimate consideration by CSE's readers to determine award winners. The Videojet 1000 won the award in the category “Communications/ Security”.
The DVR4C high-performance digital video recorder was selected by the editors of the magazine Security Sales & Integration among the best products exhibited at the exhibitions ISC East in New York August 24-25 and ASIS International Expo in Orlando, September 12-15 2005.

The iF product design award is one of the world’s three leading design awards.
In 2002, the Praesideo Network Controller won the iF Design Award for its outstanding design and quality. The award is symbol of Bosch’s commitment to innovation and meeting application requirements.
